Paid summer internships in environmental sciences

The team of scientists and educators at CONSERVEDAWN and the Global FEWture Alliance seek undergraduate students who are interested in completing summer internships. Students who complete these internships are typically interested in pursuing graduate degrees in the fields of environmental health sciences, agricultural and natural sciences, public health, atmospheric and oceanic sciences, water resources management, data analytics, policy and law, environmental education and communications, and other relevant areas.

With projects located throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and globally, they are looking for undergraduate student summer interns to assist in research, extension and education efforts. A central goal of the program is to advance the participation of BIPOC (black, indigenous and people of color), women and persons with disabilities in STEM fields relevant to the food, energy, water, climate, health nexus. The 10-week internship will start on June 3, 2024 and end on August 09, 2024. Interns selected for positions within the United States will be granted a stipend of $6,000. Those chosen for positions outside the United States will receive a competitive wage for that country, as outlined on the individual position pages.  Additional funds for expenses (e.g., travel, lodging, per diem) are not provided. They are accepting applications from now until February 9, 2024.
