Register for a new 1-credit course approved for DVCC GenEd, WEID138O Intergroup Dialogue for Life Sciences. The course runs March 27-May 8, 5-7 p.m., in 1200 Cambridge Community Center.
This highly interactive, innovative course focuses on social justice and equity in life sciences and will be facilitated by faculty member Dr. Daniel Serrano and an undergraduate student facilitator. Dr. Serrano has planned novel multimedia assignments designed to get students thinking about their own identities, life sciences careers and career-related ethical dilemmas.
Added bonuses: No textbook! Dr. Serrano will be using video clips, podcasts and websites, so life sciences students may find it to be a welcome break from many other courses.
