Congratulations to Isha Yardi ’23 of the Gemstone program on being named a Spirit of Maryland Award winner this year, and Kevin Tu ’23 (UH) and Angela Sun ’23 (ILS) on being among the ten finalists! The Spirit of Maryland is an award presented at Homecoming each year to two seniors with outstanding scholarship, leadership, campus involvement, community service and communication skills. They are chosen by a committee of faculty and staff based on how much they have exemplified the spirit of the University of Maryland during their time here. It is a great honor to be a finalist for this prestigious award!
