Student Entertainment Events, in partnership with the LGBTQ+ Equity Center, Omicron Delta Kappa, and the School of Public Policy Alumni Network, is hosting a special advance screening of the first episode of "Fellow Travelers." Fellow Travelers is an American historical romance political thriller television series exploring a decades-long romance between two men who first meet during the height of McCarthyism in the 1950s. This screening will be followed by a Q&A with their producer Robbie Rogers, who is a former UMD and professional soccer player. The discussion will cover topics like LGBTQ+ history and politics, LGBTQ+ representation in media, careers in the entertainment industry, scriptwriting, and media production.
