DMV Student Journal Symposium for Literary and Research Publications

April 26 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join the DMV Student Journal Symposium for Literary and Research Publications, the first of a proposed annual symposium of undergraduate and graduate student-led journals. This event is a chance for anyone interested in student publications to engage in interactive workshops and roundtable conversations, hear from panel discussions and a plenary speaker, and connect with fellow university journals in the DC area. The symposium fosters conversation on best editorial, leadership, and community practices and discover how to support student publications. Topics will include sustainable leadership, ethics, diversity, and navigating AI in submissions.

The symposium will be held Friday, April 26, 2024, 1:00-4:00 pm, at the National Churchill Leadership Center, Gelman Library, at the George Washington University’s Foggy Bottom Campus. The event is free; pre-registration is required.
