This year, the University of Maryland, College Park, along with other institutions in the University System of Maryland, is invited to nominate one candidate for the prestigious position of Student Regent to the University System of Maryland Student Council. The nominee will be reviewed by the System Student Council and finalists are forwarded to the Chancellor. From the Chancellor’s desk, finalists are forwarded to the Governor. In the past, College Park has been represented by outstanding scholar leaders.
The position will serve from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026.
Applications are due November 13 at 5 p.m.
