The Mid-Atlantic Research Day is a collaborative event between the BMES of Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland, College Park where students are able to showcase their research in a poster format (and compete against others for a $5000 prize pool). This year, it will be held on the JHU campus on May 6, 2023, from 10 AM to 5 PM. Abstract submissions are due on March 31, 2023. The Ficshell Department of Bioengineering is working to arrange transportation for this event. During this all-day conference, students from all domains in the biomedical sciences can showcase their cutting-edge research and have the opportunity to participate in networking events, discover new internships, hear keynote speakers, engage in career-building workshops, enjoy free catered food, and attend a mixer. This event will be sponsored by AstraZeneca.
