SUMMARY:Mid-Atlantic Research Day
DESCRIPTION:The Mid-Atlantic Research Day is a collaborative event between the BMES of Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland\, College Park where students are able to showcase their research in a poster format (and compete against others for a $5000 prize pool). This year\, it will be held on the JHU campus on May 6\, 2023\, from 10 AM to 5 PM. Abstract submissions are due on March 31\, 2023. The Ficshell Department of Bioengineering is working to arrange transportation for this event. During this all-day conference\, students from all domains in the biomedical sciences can showcase their cutting-edge research and have the opportunity to participate in networking events\, discover new internships\, hear keynote speakers\, engage in career-building workshops\, enjoy free catered food\, and attend a mixer.
