Apply to intern with Women’s Owned Nilotica Shea (WONS), a direct-trade shea cooperative dedicated to building sustainable economic empowerment for women in Northern Uganda. Spearheaded by Dr. Margaret Brindle in the School of Public Policy (SPP), WONS offers students from any major the opportunity to apply their UMD learning toward meaningful global impact.

  • Flexible commitment of 4-10 hours per week.
  • Unpaid, but can be structured for external funding or credit.
