The Bowie State University and University of Maryland Social Justice Alliance, in collaboration with the
BSOS Summer Research Initiative (SRI), seeks rising juniors and seniors to participate in an 8-week (June 3-July 26, 2024) research internship. Bowie State University (BSU), in collaboration with the University of Maryland (UMD) and the 2nd Lieutenant Richard Collins III Foundation, has developed a Social Justice Alliance, created to honor the legacy of BSU alumnus Lt. Collins and to promote social justice on each respective campus. Led by teams from each university, the Social Justice Alliance summer scholars will engage in research and projects that intersect with social justice in order to address critical issues facing campuses, communities, the State of Maryland, the nation, and beyond.
