Institute for Responsible Citizenship

The Institute for Responsible Citizenship accepting applications from African American male students

The Washington Program at the Institute for Responsible Citizenship is an intensive two-summer program for the nation’s best and brightest African American male students.

Upon selection, scholars are provided with high-level internships in the fields of their interest, take a rigorous seminar with their peers, participate in innovative professional development workshops and meet with a wide range of private and public sector leaders.

Above all, scholars form bonds that last well beyond our required two-summer commitment.

Applications are due on January 15, 2024.

Please direct questions to the Director of the Washington Program, Andrew Mulinge, at amulinge@theinstitute.net.
