Fellow Travelers is an American historical romance political thriller television series exploring a decades-long romance between two men who first meet during the height of McCarthyism in the 1950s. This screening will be followed by a Q&A with their producer Robbie Rogers, who is a former UMD and professional soccer player. The discussion will cover topics like LGBTQ+ history and politics, LGBTQ+ representation in media, careers in the entertainment industry, scriptwriting, and media production.

The UM Scholars Program enables outstanding University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP) undergraduates to become engaged in summer research projects led by top faculty in the University of Maryland School of Medicine at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB).
