  • Fall Break Reset

    Take a moment to rewind and recharge at the Fall Break Reset on Tuesday, October 14 from 4–6 PM on McKeldin Mall! Come enjoy free sandwiches from Panera and sports equipment provided by RecWell (including soccer balls, footballs, yard pong, frisbees, and spike ball). This is a relaxed, no-RSVP-needed event designed to help you reconnect with fellow students and enjoy some time outside. Supported/sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA) and the Division of Student Affairs.

  • Conference: Eradicating Anti-Black Racism in the DMV

This one-day event will feature dynamic conversations with leading scholars and thought leaders from across disciplines in the DMV. Open to faculty, staff, students, and community partners, the conference offers a unique opportunity to engage in critical dialogue and collective action.

  • TATA Innovation Dialogue

    The Center for Social Value Creation is hosting their annual TATA Innovation Dialogue on Wednesday, October 22, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in Van Munching Hall! Participate in a discussion on technology and innovation in retail with P.C. Thomas, Head of Tata's Retail Business Unit. You'll also learn about the Tata Global Internships Program, which is open to all majors and class years. Free dinner will be provided.

  • Caminhando e Cantando (dance performance): A historical analysis of arts censorship and dictatorships

    Mark your calendar for Caminhando e Cantando, a multimedia dance performance which examines the history and lasting impact of the Brazilian Military Dictatorship (1964-1985), choreographed by HDCC Alum Beatriz ML and designed by fellow DCC students. There will be two performances on October 25th in The Clarice's Dance Theater at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are not required. Honors students are highly encouraged to attend the invited dress rehearsal on Thursday, October 23, and Q&A on Friday, October 24.
