The Myth of Black Buying Power (Free Lecture & Teach-In)

Come out on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 12 p.m., for a lecture and teach-in, facilitated by Morgan State professor, Dr. Jared Ball. Dr. Ball will be using his critically acclaimed book, “The Myth of Black Buying Power: Media, Race, Economics,” as the centerpiece for his lecture and teach-in. His book dispels myriad myths and claims regarding the ongoing economic plight of Black America. This lecture is FREE and will be in the Nyumburu Cultural Center’s Conference Room. Feel free to bring your own lunch as this is a “bring your own lunch” event.
