Office of Diversity & Inclusion talk with Dr. Veronica Carey

On April 10th, the Diversity Training & Education unit within the Office of Diversity & Inclusion is bringing Dr. Veronica Carey, Assistant Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Drexel University and Associate Clinical Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions, to campus for an in-person student facing talk. She will be engaging students in a conversation related to her book, Frame Your Degree: How to Avoid Pain While Seeking a College Degree.
Dr. Carey will share strategies on how to survive and thrive in a college environment as a student of color. She will give tactics on how to advocate for yourself, financial aid, resume building, grad school admission tips, maximizing internships, and how to gain transferable skills to achieve post-graduate success. They will also be giving out free copies of her books and providing pizza! To RSVP, please fill out this form.
