The School of Public Health has opened applications for the editorial board of The Health Literate, a new undergraduate journal dedicated to publishing high-quality student scholarship—including original research, brief reports, policy analyses, and perspectives—and fostering research literacy and community. The journal is currently recruiting students for a range of roles: section editors, associate editors, copy and standards reviewers, peer reviewers, web designers, outreach and communications, and social media management, with applications open through May 2. This is an excellent opportunity for undergraduates to engage in a research community, gain experience with the peer-review process, and connect with School of Public Health faculty and students; while the journal is officially affiliated with SPH, many positions are open to students from outside the School of Public Health as well.
