Conversations to Remember

Volunteer with Conversations to Remember to address older adult loneliness

Conversations to Remember, a nonprofit dedicated to combating loneliness and isolation among older adults, is seeking Honors students to volunteer for its fully virtual intergenerational visit program. Students commit one hour per week for at least 16 weeks, meeting in small teams with older adults (including some living with dementia) for video calls that build meaningful relationships while developing communication and empathy skills. Volunteers receive training and ongoing support, can choose times that fit their schedules, and may take on additional roles such as social media, outreach, or call support; students can learn more and submit a volunteer interest form at conversationstoremember.org.
