The Computational Health Informatics Program (CHIP) at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School is offering a Summer 2026 internship for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as alumni, with an initial application deadline of February 9. CHIP labs work at the intersection of medicine, public health, social sciences, and computation in areas like AI and machine learning, natural language processing and LLMs, genomics, population health, regulatory science, data-driven social justice, and more, giving students a chance to engage in cutting-edge, real-world research. Interns benefit from faculty and mentors whose work informs institutions such as the White House, CDC, State Department, NASA, and major tech companies, and they gain access to a global alumni network in academia and industry.
More details and the application are available at the CHIP AI Internship website.
