Research Opportunity with First-Generation Latine Students at UMD

Participate in a study on the experiences of first-generation Latine college students as they navigate their family and academic responsibilities while in college. The study involves participants first completing a brief 10-minute survey with demographic questions (e.g., race, gender, sexual orientation), followed by a 60–75-minute Zoom interview.

Eligibility Criteria

Participants must:

  • Be enrolled in a four-year college or university in the United States
  • Identify as a first-generation college student
  • Identify as Latino/a/x/e
  • Be in their sophomore, junior, or senior year

Participation involves:

  • Completing a brief survey with demographic questions and a consent form (approximately 10 minutes)
  • Participating in a 60–75-minute Zoom interview
  • Being entered into a raffle to win a $25 gift card

All participation is voluntary, and responses will remain confidential.
