These IDEA courses will be offered in the Spring 2023 semester:
- IDEA258A: Innovation Tools & Mindsets – Dive into an innovation skill or mindset each week in an interactive way in this fun, “low stakes,” 1-credit in-person or asynchronous sections that push you to think in new and different ways.
- IDEA258D: Explorations in Design – Apply your unique backgrounds to the realm of design to engage in real-world applications to incorporate design thinking into everyday life in this 1-credit STICs course
- IDEA258U: Introduction to UI/UX Design – Examine UX and what that means for you as both a designer and a user. Learn core UX principles and methodologies from an academic and practical standpoint and be challenged to think both inside and outside the bounds of technology to find innovative solutions to real-world design problems. This is a 1-credit STICs course
- IDEA345: Becoming a Design Thinker – Dive into design thinking in this project-based, 1-credit course. Experience the design thinking process and unleash your inner design thinker
- IDEA379A: Design your Purpose – Apply innovation and entrepreneurship techniques to design the life you want to have. Dream big and learn a process to help those dreams become reality in this 1-credit class
- IDEA459/659: The Innovation Studio – Collaborate with students across disciplines in the performing and visual arts to design flexible, devised performance experiments in this 3-credit course
