This year, the University of Maryland, College Park, along with other institutions in the University System of Maryland, is invited to nominate one (1) candidate for the prestigious position of Student Regent on the University System of Maryland Student Council for the term July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028.
The nominee will be reviewed by the System Student Council, and their finalists will be forwarded to the Chancellor for consideration. From there, the final recommendation is sent to the Governor.
In the past, College Park has been represented by exceptional scholar-leaders who have exemplified the values and excellence of our campus.
Applications are due Monday, November 17, at 5 p.m.
