The Maryland Leadership Education and Development (MLEAD) Program is recruiting student leaders for the 2025–2026 academic year. There are two ways to get involved:
MLEAD Facilitators – Volunteer Role
Facilitators lead small group discussions, experiential activities, and create inclusive leadership spaces during the Terrapin Leadership Institute (TLI) and Maryland Leadership Conference (MLC).
- No previous experience required
- Build facilitation, communication, and public speaking skills
- Get 1-on-1 coaching and leadership development
- T-shirt included
Monday night meetings (4–6 PM) required

MLEAD Internships – Paid Leadership Positions
Interns work 10 hours per week from August 2025 to May 2026 and receive $2,400 in total compensation. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to help shape MLEAD’s impact across campus.
We are hiring for multiple focus areas:
- Learning & Development Intern
- Communication & Marketing Intern
- Program Logistics & Management Interns (TLI or MLC/MLH)
Monday night meetings (4–6 PM) required
Preference given to students who have previously facilitated
