Terps for Change believes that meaningful service goes hand in hand with personal reflection. Their Pop-Ups provide on-campus volunteer organizations with opportunities to explore this connection through guided discussions led by our team of facilitators. These dialogues encourage thoughtful conversations on social issues, social identities, and the power of community voice.
Terps for Change Pop-Up dialogues bridge the work of the Leadership and Community Service-Learning Office and their organization with student groups and UMD-affiliated organizations, fostering deeper engagement in service and social impact.
They have partnered with professional fraternities, scholars programs, colloquium classes, and cultural affinity groups. Their programming has covered topics such as integrating DEI into community building, understanding the value of service, and navigating local volunteer opportunities.
If your campus organization or course could benefit from a dialogue on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), service learning, or community outreach, get in touch! To get involved, fill out the Pop-Up Interest form by clicking the button below.
