Jahnavi Kirkire Wins 2024 Spirit of Maryland Award, Six Other Honors Students Among Finalists

We are happy to announce that several of our exceptional Honors students were recognized as finalists for the prestigious Spirit of Maryland Award at this year’s Homecoming 2024 celebration. This award honors outstanding seniors who embody the true essence of the University of Maryland through their scholarship, leadership, campus involvement, and community service.

We are especially proud to highlight that Jahnavi Kirkire from Honors Humanities was selected as one of the two winners of this esteemed award!

Our remarkable finalists from various Honors programs include:

These students have demonstrated outstanding dedication to their studies, leadership roles, and community engagement, making significant contributions to our university community.
