“We got to hear from lots of medical professionals about how they apply their research to the clinical field. One really cool aspect of the program is they also connect you with shadowing opportunities at the UM Medical Center and I got to shadow oncologists in several specializations. Being situated in Baltimore amidst the UMSOM campus was really beneficial in learning more about the field and helping me map out what a medical profession looks like.”
