New Futures is a dynamic local nonprofit with a unique approach to fighting inequity. New Futures invests in their scholars with a deliberate combination of scholarships, academic and career advising, access to transformative professional networks, and a lot of hard as they jumpstart careers they love in high-growth fields that will lead to financial security and more equitable futures for all. Since their inception, they have worked with over 450 scholars and awarded over $5 million in post-secondary scholarships. Having strengthened their approach, they are growing their team to build capacity, expand impact, and sustain growth.
THE POSITION:
This full-time internship offers a valuable opportunity for individuals with aspirations of nonprofit leadership. It will provide interns with insights into community-centric recruitment and selection of young people into the New Futures Scholars Program. As an intern, you will have the unique chance to work closely with their esteemed Recruitment Manager. Together, you will actively engage in completing administrative tasks while also playing a crucial role in the development and implementation of inclusive and equitable selection processes. This position fosters collaboration with other dedicated New Futures staff members to ensure that systems embody both efficiency and equity.
