Started in 2013 under the name of Scientific Terrapin, the Maryland Undergraduate Research Journal (MURJ) seeks to increase the visibility of student-led research at UMD. MURJ’s goal is to become a peer-reviewed, open-access journal, as well as a research advocacy student organization, promoting scientific rigor and academic excellence among UMD undergraduates.
They are currently looking for executive board members to fill the roles of:
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Communication chairs
- Tech chairs
- Editor-in-Chief
