Terps for Change (T4C) is part of the Leadership & Community Service-Learning office in the Adele H. Stamp Student Union.
Terps for Change is an 8-week, semesterly program in which volunteers serve local organizations in a variety of social issue areas by visiting and working at community service sites once a week. Applications are still open for participants!
T4C is also looking for student leaders interested in becoming Pop-Up Dialogue Coordinators and connecting with organizations across campus to bring meaningful discussions to UMD students. Duties include:
- Engage UMD organizations and their members in a discussion about social issues, social identity, inclusion or community voice
- Facilitate fun and interactive activities
- Collaborate with campus community partners to design the discussion/activity plan to better suit their organization’s mission
These student leaders would lead dialogues with various partners during the semester and gain the opportunity to develop leadership, facilitation, and logistical skills. They are looking specifically for organized, team-oriented students with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow!
