Each Spring, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions hosts admitted students from underrepresented populations on campus during EDGE (Experience Diversity, Growth, & Excellence). This successful overnight stay program helps to attract talented students to the University of Maryland by showcasing current students’ experiences and opportunities offered.
To be an EDGE host, students must be in good academic standing and must live in on-campus housing. Based on the availability of hosts, we will schedule training dates between February 20 and March 3 so that hosts can provide the best experience. Applications should be submitted by Thursday, February 16.
