Effective Altruism is a community that attempts to help people answer the question: “Given my limited time and resources, how can I do the most good?” The Effective Altruism club at UMD is hosting an introductory fellowship to introduce students to thinking tools they can use to grapple with this problem. The program will include 8 weeks of readings and discussions about effective altruism and some strategies for doing good that may be particularly impactful. Applications are due February 15, 2023.
