SUMMARY:College Park City Council Candidate Town Hall
DESCRIPTION:All UMD students are invited to a town hall event with the College Park mayor and council candidates on Monday\, October 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.\, in advance of the November election. Students will have the opportunity to interact directly with council candidates from all four districts as well as the mayor who is running unopposed for re-election. \nIt will be held in Thurgood Marshall Hall (TMH) 0301\, and food and drink will be provided! This event is co-sponsored by the Student Liaisons to the City Council\, University Honors\, the Student Government Association and the Department of Communication. \nIf you have a question for the candidates\, you are welcome to submit it in advance at this link\, though this is not required. \nFor more information\, contact Kristy Maddux (klmaddux@umd.edu) or Dhruvak Mirani (dmirani@umd.edu).
