DESCRIPTION:Join the College of Computer\, Mathematical\, and Natural Sciences for the Dean’s Voices of Inclusive Excellence Lecture by Professor Sylvester James Gates\, Jr.\, Distinguished University Professor and Clark Leadership Chair in Science. \nReflecting on a lifetime of formative experiences in both integrated and segregated environments\, eminent scientist Professor Sylvester James “Jim” Gates Jr. shares his journey of defying racial obstacles to achieve the career of his dreams in math and science. Gates’ lived experiences demonstrate the importance of access to STEM education for students of color\, highlighting the integral role of diversity in achieving innovation and excellence in math and science. DESCRIPTION:Are you curious about the legal considerations that startups need to make as they innovate new products? Are you interested in scaling your business\, but don’t know how to navigate the legal environment to make it happen?
