SUMMARY:UMD Story Exchange
DESCRIPTION:Join the University of Maryland’s first-ever campus-wide Story Exchange! The Story Exchange is a practice developed by a program known as Narrative 4 that uses storytelling as a method to break down barriers\, shatter stereotypes and build curiosity and community. \nParticipants will engage in a facilitated Story Exchange led by several trained members of the campus community\, which involves sharing a true story with a partner and then telling your partner’s story from the first-person perspective. \nThis event will be held in the STAMP Colony Ballroom from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday\, November 1. Registration (go.umd.edu/cbj) is free and encouraged\, but a number of walk-in spots will be available. The Story Exchange is open to faculty\, students and staff.
