About the Honors College
The University of Maryland’s premiere location in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area provides students with exceptional access to research and internship experiences unrivaled by other universities. Scholarly resources of the Library of Congress, National Archives, National Institutes of Health, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Folger Shakespeare Library are all located within easy commuting distance for students electing to pursue off-campus research.
